ATLANTA | Today, Lt. Gov. Burt Jones announced additional legislative priorities for the 2024 Legislative Session.

“I am extremely pleased with the work that we have accomplished so far this session, but we cannot afford to take our foot off the gas,” said Lt. Governor Burt Jones. “These additional priorities will continue to advance my goal of empowering Georgia businesses and protecting Georgia families. We are going to prioritize efforts to increase budget transparency, support Georgia’s public safety and veterans communities, and pass sensible and meaningful reforms to our tax, tort, and foster care systems. Through these priorities, we will continue to deliver positive results for the people of Georgia.”
