Lt. Governor Burt Jones Statement on Shooting at Apalachee High School

ATLANTA | Today, Lt. Governor Burt Jones issued the following statement in response to the shooting that took place today at Apalachee High School:

“We are devastated to learn about the tragic incident that occurred at Apalachee High School. Thank you to the brave men and women who responded from across the state.

We are keeping the students, the victims, their families and the entire community in our thoughts and prayers. Jan & I — along with the entire state of Georgia — are here for them in their time of need and will continue to lift them up in our prayers in the days and weeks and months to come.”
