FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, July 17, 2024

ATLANTA |Today, Lt. Governor Burt Jones announced that the two field representatives assigned to hold mobile office hours throughout Georgia have hosted meetings in 109 of Georgia’s 159 counties. The Statewide Field Representative Program was created in 2023, shortly after Lt. Governor Jones took office. Each representative has held weekly mobile office hours throughout their assigned regions to respond to constituent requests and questions.

“I want to thank Luke and T.J., our field representatives, constituent services team, state and local officials, and everyone who partnered with our staff to host mobile office hours in 109 counties so far,” said Lt. Governor Burt Jones. “This program supports our constituent services office in Atlanta because we recognize that constituent issues exist outside Capitol walls and we need to meet constituents in their local communities. While traveling the state, our dedicated representatives are meeting with citizens, local leaders, and other stakeholders to answer questions and address their unique needs. This program will continue for the remainder of the year and we look forward to visiting all 159 counties.”
