ATLANTA | Today, Lt. Governor Burt Jones issued a statement on workforce opportunities across the state of Georgia.

“Last month, Georgians across the state graduated from high school and are now looking ahead to what comes next,” said Lt. Governor Burt Jones. “While some maybe attending a traditional four-year college, some might be looking at other options to accelerate their entry into Georgia’s workforce. Over the next several months, my office will be highlighting additional opportunities, like those offered by the Technical College System of Georgia and Georgia’s College and Career Academies. Workforce development is the single biggest driver of our state economy, and I will continue to support all efforts to promote workforce development throughout the state.”

Additional information on Lt. Governor Jones’ workforce initiative will be shared in the next several weeks.
