ATLANTA | Today, Lt. Governor Burt Jones issued a statement on House Bills 1015 and 1023, legislation that would deliver a combined half billion dollars in tax cuts for hardworking Georgians and Georgia businesses.

“Eliminating the state income tax has always been a priority of mine,” said Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones. “These tax cuts are a step in the right direction and put money back into the pockets of hard working Georgia taxpayers. I am proud of the Senate and the House for working on legislation to deliver these cuts to the people of Georgia, and look forward to seeing more of this great work in the future.”
