ATLANTA | Today, Lt. Governor Burt Jones and Senator Randy Robertson (R – Cataula) issued statements on the passage of Senate Bill 332, legislation that clears the way for the Prosecuting Attorneys Qualifications Commission to begin its work.

“Today’s vote on Senate Bill 332 brings us one step closer to beginning the vital work of the Prosecuting Attorneys Qualifications Commission,” said Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones. “Georgians deserve prosecutors who will uphold the rule of law while promoting public safety.”

“In the interest of public safety, it is vitally important that we immediately begin the work of the Prosecuting Attorneys Qualifications Commission,” said Senator Randy Robertson. “The passage of SB 332 is a step in the right direction to begin the important work of holding our District Attorneys accountable and keeping our communities safe.”
