Lt. Governor Duncan Recognizes Significance of College and Career Academies at 14th Annual Business & Education Summit

ATLANTA (October 6, 2021) | Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan hosted College and Career Academies from across the state yesterday at the Great Wolf Lodge in LaGrange, Georgia for the 14th Annual Business & Education Summit. Joined by community leaders, educators and students, Duncan organized a series of panels highlighting the essential role workforce development plays in “advancing innovation,” which served as the meeting's official theme.

ATLANTA (September 27, 2021) | Today, Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan and Senator John F. Kennedy, Chairman of the Senate Redistricting and Reapportionment Committee, released a proposed draft of the Georgia Congressional Districts. The proposed maps, thoughtfully drawn in accordance with longstanding principles of redistricting, are being provided to the public for further review and discussion.

Senate Page Program

The Senate Page Program offers students age 12 and older a first-hand opportunity to visit the Capitol to observe and participate in the legislative process. Senate pages serve the Senators by delivering important information and messages to them in the Senate Chamber during the legislative session day.
