As the Lt. Governor’s Policy Director, James Beal leads the Lt. Governor’s legislative initiatives and overall agenda. Prior to joining the Lt. Governor’s Office, Beal worked in the Senate Research Office where he served as the senior policy analyst in the areas of Health & Human Services, Insurance & Labor, and Science & Technology. He also worked in the Office of Governor Nathan Deal and the Georgia Department of Human Services. He earned a law degree and bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University.
