It is a true testimony to a lot of hard work on behalf of our state to see Georgias business climate ranked as #2 in the nation. It means we have been doing something right when it comes to economic and workforce development. I am passionate about creating a pro-jobs culture in state government and rolling out the welcome mat for new businesses. We will continue to focus our attention on Georgias business climate and it will continue to succeed, Cagle said.

Since coming to office this year, Cagle has been committed to reaching out to the economic development community by working to retain and grow existing jobs and to create new jobs by bringing new businesses to Georgia. Additionally, he has looked for ways to develop and pass a policy agenda that promotes job growth in Georgia by improving the business climate and our states healthcare, transportation and education infrastructure.
