Cagle Statement Regarding Georgia's High School Graduation Rate

September 28, 2007

Lt. Governor Casey Cagle released the following statement in response to Governor Perdue’s announcement today regarding Georgia’s high school graduation rate.

"Today's news of a reduced high school drop out rate is a good step in the right direction.  As we continue to offer choices such as charter schools and career academies, I am confident we will see more and more students graduate from high school prepared for the next step,” said Lt. Governor Casey Cagle.
