Lt. Governor Cagle Appoints Snelling To Board of Georgia State Properties Commission

(Atlanta, GA) – Lt. Governor Casey Cagle announced today his appointment of Dr. George Snelling of Martinez to serve on the Board of the Georgia State Properties Commission.

“Dr. Snelling is a fine man and I am pleased to appoint him to the Georgia State Properties Board.  His understanding of real estate and expertise will be an asset to the board,” Cagle said.

Snelling is an investor, real estate developer and owner of Snelling Properties, L.L.P. as well as the vice-president of the Georgia Self-Storage Association.  He is a former dentist with a degree from the Medical College of Georgia.  In addition, he serves on the board of the Georgia Medical Center Authority and the Builders Association of Augusta.   He has been a resident of the Augusta area for 35 years.

The Georgia State Properties Commission (GSPC) is responsible for the acquisition and disposition of all state-owned real property and all real property interests. GSPC is also responsible for the inventory of all state-owned and leased real estate property.
