Lt. Governor Cagle Appoints Hunter Hill to Driver Services Board

The office of Lt. Governor Casey Cagle announced today that three-time combat veteran and real estate professional Hunter Hill has been appointed to serve on the Board of Driver Services effective July 1.  The Board oversees the operations of the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS).

"As a Captain in the United States Army and a successful young professional, Hunter brings a unique perspective to the already talented board of DDS. He has a genuine passion to serve and I am honoted to have him representing my office in this capactiy," said Lt. Governor Casey Cagle.

Hill, a native of Vinings, graduated from West Point and served in the Army Ranger in the 101^st Airborne from 2000-2005.  As an Army Captain Hill led platoons with great success in both Iraq and Afghanistan during his tour of duty. 

After leaving the Army, Hill joined Atlanta real estate company Carter and Assoc. as a development project manager until being called back into active duty one year later.  Hill served in Afghanistan for another year as a Police Mentor Team Leader for the Afghan National police force.

Hill has been an active leader in his Southeast Cobb County community over the years, looking for new and innovative solutions to improving education, economic development, and fiscal responsibility in his area.
