Lt. Governor Casey Cagle Applauds Pull-A-Part for Participation in the EPA's National Partnership for Environmental Priorities

(Atlanta, GA) – Today Lt.  Governor Casey Cagle was present as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) presented Georgia based Pull-A-Part, LLC, with a plaque commemorating their participation in the agency’s National Partnership for Environmental Priorities.

“This is a prime example of the difference that just one company can make in being a wise steward of our environmental resources.   I am very proud of all Pull-A-Part has accomplished and applaud their effort to make the reduction of chemical waste a priority,” said Lt. Governor Casey Cagle.

Pull-A-Part, LLC, is the nations fastest growing discount, do-it-yourself used auto parts retailer.    The company, which processes approximately 10,000 cars a year per location, is headquartered in Atlanta and has 21 locations, including four in the state of Georgia. As part of the EPA’s National Partnership for Environmental Priorities, each Pull-A-Part location will remove nearly 50,000 gallons of fluids that would otherwise pollute our water and will reduce landfill waste by twenty-two percent.   Additionally, Pull-A-Part will remove all accessible, mercury containing convenience lighting switches from trunks and under hoods of end of life vehicles purchased at each location.
