Lt. Governor Casey Cagle Statement Regarding Mitsubishi Power Systems Decision to Locate Plant in Georgia

(Atlanta, GA) – Lt. Governor Casey Cagle released the following statement regarding Mitsubishi Power Systems decision to locate a plant in Pooler:

“It is always our goal to create the right environment to attract growing and thriving businesses to Georgia.  Today’s announcement speaks to the success that can be achieved by promoting policies that attract new, high paying jobs to our state.

“Real and lasting economic recovery means every Georgian who needs a job has access to a job.  The 500 jobs that will be created because of Mitsubishi will provide a real boost to our economy and provide families in the Pooler and Savannah area a brighter future,” said Lt. Governor Casey Cagle.
