Apply to be an Intern
Approximately 30 students from Georgia's public and private universities and colleges get firsthand experience in the lawmaking process if they are selected to participate in the Georgia Legislative Intern Program.
The annual program is coordinated by the Vinson Institute in cooperation with the Georgia General Assembly and the Department of Political Science at Georgia State University.
If you are interested in becoming an intern, speak with your professor and ask them to sponsor you. Typically, interns work on semester schedules in the Lieutenant Governor's office and also earn course credit. If you are interested in becoming an intern, please fill out the following application.
